Pundooah railway station is a Kolkata Suburban Railway station on the Howrah–Bardhaman main line operated by Eastern Railway zone of Indian Railways. It is situated beside Station Road at Pandua in Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Number of EMU and passenger trains stop at Pundooah railway station. The distance between Howrah and Pundooah railway station is approximately 61 km. The station elevation is 66 feet, it owned by indian railway and operated by Eastern railway. pandua station have 5 platform and 3 tracks. It opened 1855 , and electrified 1958. station code of pundooah is PDA. Here are some trains that are passing through Pundooah railway station like Hwh-bwn Local, Bwn - Hwh Local, Sdah- Mfp Pass, Hwh Mka Pas, Bwn-bdc Local, Hwh - Bwn Non -stop Local, Bdc-bwn Local, and many more. Before this station simlagarh is located and after khanyan station is located. Besides station many market here and also sabji bazar here. Many many sweet shop are behind the station . The station communicate all place with the help of auto, toto, local bus, rikshaw. The Main station road is join with Grand Trunk Road. The station is clean, well decorated and safe.
This is a station which comes under Howrah division railway. This is a very low level station I mean there is no stoppage of passenger and express trains. Only local trains stop there. Mainly this is the place under ruler area.
I never get down on the station .But the station is situated on the way of my journey. I see this station over 1 year .The station is very clean and neat .Many train like sitamari stop there.

Pretty big railway station. Get down here for BDO office. No dedicated waiting room or departure board is here. Announcements are proper and frequently made. From here a dedicated Howrah local is available. Bus stand and auto stand is just beside the station (towards platform number 4). The whole station is not covered. And sometimes it gets crowded.
It's a very good station under a large number of village. Very much communication.
