It always feels good when we are at Panhala fort. It is one of the best tourism places from kolhapur. Atomosphere is always fabulous from here. Panhala fort has a great history. It is a Perfect example of past day architecture. Chatrapati Shivaji maharaj were on Panhala for some days before the strike of siddhi Jouhar. As he surrounded panhala, maharaj had to left panhala, with some men. Vir shiva kashid who was replica of maharaj diverted siddhi for some time and sacrificed his life for Maharaj (we can see his statue while going on fort itself. And also, his samadhi while going to fort.)
