Its my hometown railway station.. Its important station for Panruti people who travels chennai, Villupuram, trichry, thanjavur.but only 3 express and 2 passenger trains only have stoppage here.This station locaty in Mainline section between Villupuram to Trichy.now this line get electrified soon the electric trains get started..our people are hope after full electrification most of express trains get a halt here

Kindly give back the stoppage to all trains. Nice to have a railway station in my town. It will be good railway takes action to give stoppage to all the trains in this route. Panruti in surrounded my many small towns and big villages. People usually travel a lot daily to other districts, states daily.
Panruti was a great experience to egt to see so many jack fruits n cashew trees. The trip became more interesting as we could go to a local person, Arun's, place. Got to eat very tender cashews, got an opportunity to see the double cashews (yes, they consider this as a lucky charm n keep on toeing them in a string n hang it near the entrance). Could purchase grade A quality of cashews for Rs 750/- per kg).
