This neat little temple complex was built in 1889 by Dei Ji Sahiba who was married to Raja Pratap Chand of Kangra. The Raja of Sirmaur (where the said complex is situated) was her brother. There are two shrines and a 'samadhi' in this complex. The larger shrine is dedicated to the Hindu god Rama. The smaller one is a Shivalaya consecrated to Shiva. The walls of the these shrines are covered with tempera paintings executed in a style that was popular in the Dehradun-Haridwar region and exhibit a strong Kangra influence. The murals here are some of the finest examples of that school of painting. They depict scenes from the Ramayana, Dashavatara series and Shiva Purana. This building was recently restored by the INTACH.
