I loved the ambience of this temple very much. The temple is located on the shore of a vast paddy field which was full of birds and other other domestic animals. Nice wind blows up with fresh air and you will feel a positive energy at temple.

This temple is famous for its fireworks show during annual Vishu vilakku. Thousands of people from neighbouring villages gather here on this occasion. The Temple is situated in keecheri near NH 66 just about 11 kilometres from kannur. Highly recommend to visit during festive season.
One of best palotukav that is rare in kannur.. It is a festival of 7 days .. First day starts vishu and on that day 2 theyyam can be see palot theyyam and anga theyyam .. And on the 7 day 4 theyyam are there... 7th day is best day where it stars from noon and ends at night and night fireworks are there which is famous in kannur district and at 5 the traditional thega aaeru is there (coconut is thrown by several people on devotional stone and its a kind of art and tradition you should never miss)
