Heavenly & Beautiful to walk around - the (temporary) one way passage is safe as works; plenty of seating; absolutely exquisite Dahlias & hot flower planting this time of year. You can even see the apples & pear trees bearing fruit already. Nice experience shopping for some local and unusual plants. It was a very good morning out!

Amazing gardens, they are simply immaculate. The owners have created a beautiful, tranquil place to relax and enjoy nature. We've rented the Garden studio which was very cosy and romantic. It's furnished to high standard and very clean and tidy. Thank you for such a lovely break.

Beautiful gardens - they were past their peak when we visited in October but we're still lovely to walk around with late season dahlias and asters in abundance. The garden isn't huge as public gardens go but as a private enterprise is astounding. They are clearly the product of love and care. The staff member who was in attendance when we visited was incredibly helpful. In terms of COVID, I don't think I've been anywhere that's been as conscientious. The info is clear and logical, the temporary route is well signposted and none of the restrictions felt overbearing. It's a garden that clearly welcomes repeat visits across the seasons and I hope to visit again next year.

A stunning little hidden gem of a garden, with a cosy 2 sleeper self catering cottage. Lots of care and love has gone into making this tranquil haven! Trish and Peter made our stay here a wonderful memory to treasure always.

A beautiful garden with a colourful display of plants, Japanese garden, orchard and fernery. My sister and I really enjoyed our visit and picnic lunch! A lovely peaceful place to visit.

Visiting in Sept there is plenty of colour in the extensive herbaceous beds. Island beds in the main. Very much a plantsman's garden, with a huge range of plants and many unusual forms. Probably 30 dahlias for example. Will be good throughout the season with lots of Spring bulbs (eg snowdrop collection and primulas), extensive fernery, and plenty of shrubs. Plenty of seating, everything is labelled clearly, helpful staff and a nice little nursery an tearoom (closed currently). An excellent place to spend a couple of hours if you enjoy plants
