Such a lovely pub. Not only is it super cozy with a beautiful view, but the food was delicious! Really fresh things on the menu and made with love:) If I wasn’t just visiting for the week, I’d certainly be a regular there!

Brilliant. We ate here twice Sat 22/08 and Weds 26/08. Sat - no wait, straight to a table. Good covid safety in place and the food was as always, outstanding. Wed - help out to eat out - fifteen minute wait stood at the entrance before I was seen but I was then seated straight away and service was fine. We had to wait about ten/fifteen minutes to order but this is perfectly acceptable when you're eating for half price and the place is extra busy! Once we had ordered everything was quick (no long waits for drinks or food). A beautiful pub which serves delicious food (I highly recommend the mussels!! My children recommend the fish and chips). The views here are fabulous - we always (wether dependant) sit outside on the wooden picnic tables against the wall. When seated inside the window seats also have great views. Fourth year returning whilst in holiday in Cornwall, and we will be back again next year! Thanks.

Visited today. Bit of winter sun. Fowey mussels for starters. This was excellent, best I've tasted in a long time. Ham sandwich with seared mustard was also great with a tasty fresh salad and tasty vegetable crisps. My wife had crab sandwich which was also of a high quality. This was an unexpected treat today.

The staff were wonderful, friendly, and cheerful despite being very busy. We went twice my husband also tried the mussels, which he declared were delicious... Me i had the most perfect crab sandwich, both visits.

Lovely pub at a great location. Stopped for a bite to eat after a long walk down the coast. Staff were very attentive and covid measures were in place and being enforced. Food came out in good time, portions were massive and the Fowey river mussels I had ARE THE BEST I've ever eaten. 10/10 highly recommended.
