Superb garden for tree lovers..best we have seen in Cornwall! Magnificent old trees on sheltered hillside. Many champion and specimen ones. Flat lawns and herbaceous border close to entrance with old greenhouses full of plants adjoining them It's a beautiful place and was very quiet when we visited mid September Dogs are not allowed in the garden but you are allowed to walk them on a lead in the park outside.....also there is a seat just outside the entrance where I waited with our dog. There are clean toilets just outside the entrance with appropriate sprays and liquid soap Also a disabled toilet The large car park is shaded by tall trees
