Just wanted to share some useful info for Westerners that have to go here to get a same day visa processed. I'm American and have to pay US 160 for a visa. But you will have to pay in local currency, Brazilian Reals. They have their own currency exchange rate. I was charged R704 which at the time of writing this is US 189. There isn't much you can do. Just an FYI. Other than that, I had no issues. The staff are friendly and it's relatively easy.
