A little gem of authentic Italian! Whilst the outside looks ordinary, don’t be put off. Giovanni is such a sweet man and made every effort to speak in English. The food was incredible - all fresh and authentic, even the tomatoes were from Sicily. Great vegetarian options and the wine was delicious.

I came here on a Saturday evening with my girlfriend. We waited around 1 hour for our food. The pasta I ordered felt like it was cooked in a hurry. The sauce had no flavour and it was badly presented. My girlfriend's dish was okay, but extremely small portions. Ended up paying around 40 euros. Probably never coming back here again.

I have only the best things to say about this quaint little restaurant. We had previously had trouble finding an authentic Italian eatery in this city, but 0039 changed that upon arrival. The entire staff was more than friendly and courteous throughout our entire visit. The chef (who had an undeniable similarity to uncle jun from the sopranos) made frequent visits to our table to ensure that we were delighted with our dining experience. Our waitress did not speak the best English, however she was adorable and extremely gracious and friendly while getting our orders. She even brought out an iPad, which had photos of every dish, to ensure we knew exactly what we were ordering. I would highly recommend 00 39 to any friend who is visiting Paris. While it is a bit out of the way, it is more than worth the 10 minute uber ride. As it was by far the best dining experience we had in all of Paris.

When I visit Paris, I stay on Saint-Louis Island, not far from Berthillon store. A little bit overpriced, but it's worth the price. Vanilla the best.
