Rooms are small but clean, neat. You hear others on the floor & the elevator. The beds are very hard & uncomfortable. The staff is helpful & pleasant. Would happily return if the beds were not so uncomfortable.
Nice staff and clean room.
Very friendly staff. Excellent location. However, small and cramped, simple room for two. No space for baggage. Photos on booking website were not representative of what we got. Only one small window into an ugly interior courtyard. Additionally there was noise from other guests coming through the doors and walls and windows. Wifi hardly worked. Good: a quick walk to metro, cafes, and attractions. Overall, not a good price for what you get here.
Reasonably priced hotel in a great, central location. Easy access to surrounding areas. Nothing fancy - but comfortable, clean. The woman at the front desk was super nice and actually came outside to greet me when my cab pulled up. The man that switched shifts with her in the evening was typical stereotypical snobby French - helping me order a cab was way - WAY beyond his call of duty - or so he'd have me believe.
This is a fantastic little boutique hotel in an amazing location. We stayed as a family with our three little kids for three nights and the hotel was perfect for our adventures around Paris. We arrived in the late evening and wandered over to Rue Baci only a block away, which is the most charming little Parisian street at night with lively cafes. If you are interested in seeing the 6th arrondissement (and beyond!), this hotel is the ideal place to stay. The front desk employee the night we checked in was extremely friendly and spoke English (super helpful since we know basically no French). The cleaning service was excellent each day and they also held our luggage for us after check out until the mid-afternoon when we caught a train. Also, the hotel is very close to the M4 and also to a few bus lines so if you want to venture farther out, there is plenty of public transit that can get you to/from the hotel with minimal walking (for us, the buses came in handy). Since there were five of us, we booked the connected family rooms, which were two adjacent rooms that had a tiny foyer where you could close the hallway/foyer door and lock it so that you had privacy from other guests but could still go between the two rooms. (Humorously, the foyer between our rooms had a motion sensing light in it, which would have been terrible at night checking on the kids, but we just threw a hat over it each night and problem solved) This was a really ideal set up for us and we thought both rooms were pretty big, especially for a boutique hotel. Air con was super strong, a huge plus for us Americans. I also thought the price was particularly reasonable for Paris considering we were paying for two rooms. Overall, we were very impressed by this hotel and would easily stay here again when visit Paris again.
Terrific location. Rooms are small and a little Spartan, but the air conditioning works great especially when Paris was 37 (97). Concierge staff are helpful and there's a great Italian restaurant right next door (we sat next to the French Culture Minister).
Quaint hotel, walking distance to many museums.
