Okay, it would be easy to pass by what could so easily be mistaken as just a fish monger, particularly given the plethora of eating establishments in the area. Nevertheless, if it’s quality of fare (seafood and wine) that you’re after take a leap of faith and you won’t be disappointed. Despite the no frills environment, there’s plenty of quality and imagination provided by the charismatic and knowledgeable staff. Sweet scallops as a dessert was a stroke of genius.

Excellent place for see food. Little place, fisherman’s boat atmosphere. Oysters are the best I’ve tried! Very happy to find such an authentic place in Paris. Highly recommended!

Absolutely disappointed by very strange behavior of the personal. When we finished our food(food was good, no any issues) I asked for a bill. Waiter told that he has surprise for us and presented super small scallop dish. I thought wow so nice. But my elevated mood was quickly destroyed when we got the bill. The \surprise\ was in the bill and it costs 15.5! This is the price of normal dish not just piece of scallop! I asked the waiter why he included this to our bill? He told that we should pay because we didn't decline \surprise\ and ate it! Absolutely not recommended. Tourist trap.

We were walking on our way to another spot for lunch, when we spotted l'Écume. The sight and smell of oysters and sea urchins drew us in. Warm welcome, helpful guidance, a wine list entirely suited to fruits de mer – Muscadet, Sancerre, Menetou-Salon, etc. – a lot of fun and really good.
