I had no idea what to expect when I packed my bags and flew from Minnesota to spend 5 months in Paris! My time dancing with PMDS was short, but it was, I kid you not, an experience of a lifetime. I met friends from around the world, discovered my voice as a dancer, and was pushed to my limits. The instructors, Maggie & Ghislain are kind hearted, supportive, and wonderful role models. I noticed growth within myself in those short months, moreso than my previous 15 years of dance training.

The Graham technique was a true revelation and a life-changing experience for me. Maggie gave me precise methods to feel every cell of my own body and the space around me. She makes the energy tangible, by showing how to create it yourself. Paris Marais Dance school is the place where the phrase \your body is a miracle\ stops being just a metaphor. They give you a technique and the roadmap to that miracle. You enter as one person and leave as a new-born. Simply an apex school with world class teachers, welcoming atmosphere, and a unique program.

This is my second time attending the summer intensive workshop. Ghislan is the best ballet teacher that I have ever had. His class is scientific, useful. I learned a lot. The Graham class is a bit hard. Maggie’s illustration is both powerful and beautiful. I will come again for sure next time.

Since I joined the PMDS my body is changing (improving). The level of training is very high with lots of different styles and exposure. Best recommend school to join. The teachers are very inspiring, nice and taking care of each and every student. They are helping me not just to be a good dancer also a good person.

This school offers amazing dance programs. My daughter from California has returned for the summer program for a second year in a row. The teachers, including Nathalie Bochenek, are outstanding. The summer program includes ballet, contemporary and pointe classes, among others and even a performance at the end. We highly recommend this school!
