Beautiful church at fantastic location. Very peaceful and calming. I enjoyed the walk to get there too. And from the church courtyard you can see Paris very nicely. I visited it 3 times while I was there. Definitely I would go back.

Built in Early 1914 and got finished in 1919 after World War I, The Sacré-Cœur is the second most-visited monument in Paris. It is located at the highest point of the city. There are stunning beauty of Paris from here. Although you have both options like by stairs and by cable car to reach on this top, but it worth it to use the stairs and enjoy the great view of the city at the top.
Beautifull places on Paris. From this cathedral yard, we can see the beauty of Paris. We can entered the cathedral, and enjoy the cathedral. We can also find some souvenir near by the cathedral and also some good snack store. Lovely places and i love this city much.
Built in 1914 and consecrated in 1919 after World War I, Sacré-Cœur is the second most-visited monument in Paris. It is located at the highest point of the city, butte Montmartre. There are beautiful stain glasses and mosaic. There are many stairs you have to take to get there, but it worth it and also you get a great view to the city at the top.
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica and often simply Sacré-Cœur (French: Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, pronounced [sakʁe kœʁ]), is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Paris, France. A popular landmark and the second most visited monument in Paris,[1] the basilica stands at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city. Sacré-Cœur Basilica is above all a religious (Catholic) building, shown by its perpetual adoration of the Holy Eucharist since 1885, and is also seen as a double monument, political and cultural, both a national penance for the defeat of France in the 1870 Franco-Prussian War and for the socialist Paris Commune of 1871[2] crowning its most rebellious neighborhood, and an embodiment of conservative moral order, publicly dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which was an increasingly popular devotion since the visions of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque in Paray-le-Monial.[3]
Enjoy the perfect view of Paris from this lovely place where you'll find artists, music, drinks and food. I recommend ! don't go to the Sacré Coeur without taking pictures in front of the lovely pink house, really famous for its charm !
This place does not need special advertising. In general, the Montmartre hill is a recommendable place in itself and the basilica is a great symbol. Later in the evening you can have this hill almost to yourself. Peace and quiet and just wander the streets of the city of our books read.
You must take into account that there are many stairs and you must be very careful with the street vendors that bother the tourists with their merchandises.... on the other hand in the basilica you must pay to have access to the dome and the crypt. A beautiful neo-Byzantine style basilica. Its construction was between 1875-1923, which was decided by the National Assembly in tribute to the memory of the many French citizens who had lost their lives during the Franco-Prussian War. It was designed by the architect Paul Abadie.
