Sometimes you just want a taste from home. I was in week five of a seven week work trip and was feeling a little bit homesick. Fortunately The Canadian Embassy Pub was just down the street from my hotel. I went in not knowing quite what to expect but really hoping for some good poutine. I was not disappointed. This was exactly what I was looking for. The staff was as friendly as you would expect of a Canadian establishment, which is really saying something for the city of Paris. Often as a foreign visitor there I feel like I am really imposing on the servers of Paris. Not so at the Canadian Embassy Pub. You can't go wrong, make sure you visit.

Excellent! English speaking pub, very hospitable, nice selection of beer on tap, a tad warm, has selection of condiments. Had the bacon cheeseburger, nice and juicy. Fries was nice and crispy. The minus one star was the price.

Super nice people who all speak wonderful English. The Pub is the perfect mixture of France and Canada. Also - Monday they have a Chicken Wings special! And they were delicious.
