very slow response. I opened the CD today and was handled by the person named Elfrida...she promised she will send my personal banking info but 2 hours waiting nothing happened. Called rep back but didnt pick up the phone....if i knew the service is going to be that sucks i wont make any service to this bank.....crazy

The service at this bank is agonizingly slow. Every time I come, it takes at least half an hour to make a simple withdrawal. The employees seem overwhelmed and act as if the customers are impatient rather than accepting and acting upon the fact that they're severely understaffed.

Understaffed. BMO Harris also has some of the least convenient hours, which together with low competence of bankers, starts to make banking with them a huge waste of my time. Also, any changes to my acct must be performed at the branch I opened the acct at, which is super weird. And with their short hours, It is real hard to bank with them. They try though. They are very nice. Not very well trained, but nice. I may be moving on. I just cant spare an hour every Saturday morning to take care of my account.... In reply to the BMO reply: they will not address anything with the branch manager. The branch manager is on leave, which is a part of the problem. Bad hours are not the manager's issue. Thanks for a meaningless reply tho.

Can't talk to anyone on the phone. It says to press 0 to speak to a person, rings twice, than immediately starts the menu again. Absolutely ridiculous.

Just horrific in every respect. If and when they answer the phone every person who works for this company will give you a different answer. Everything they do takes forever and every answer they give proves incorrect later. I'm beyond tired of dealing with them. I don't know if they receive a perverse thrill from lying to me or if it's just a result of incredibly poor training that no two answers are the same, and they really don't know what they're talking about.. It's a shame that customer service appears to be a foreign concept for them, but I guess that's what happens when you deal with Bank of Montreal.
