Beautiful resort, lovely room, came for 3 days but stayed for 9 because it was so peaceful.

We spent 3 nights here in one of the "Ridge" units. It was spotless and had been completely renovated in the past few years. Very comfortable beds and a full modern kitchen. Really nice place and well worth the nightly charge. The staff were fine, although we had little interaction with them due to the virus safety protocols, which of course we were fine with. The setting is gorgeous and very quiet at night. Great views to the east and of course the wonderful Parksville beach to walk on and out forever at low tide. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay again.
Love coming here for the yearly family vacation. Love being near the water in a family-oriented environment, staff are always friendly & sweet. Grateful for this beautiful resort and for the memories our family gets to make. ️
Not the fanciest venue, but a great location for a relaxing getaway. Located right next to the beach, these rentals provide a nice, quiet atmosphere and awesome ocean views. I arrived fairly late, so I didn't have much of a chance to speak with the staff, but during the couple of minutes I was there, they were friendly and engaging. A bit more information about food service options in the area would have been helpful, but overall, definitely a place I would come back to for a family getaway.
Kitchen was a bit lacking counter space and the oven was a bit small and it did however come with a toaster oven, microwave, regular toaster decently sized fridge with freezer, as well as dishes. the barbecue however was a bit grimy and one of the toilets in the units did have a large ring around it. the hideabeds were a bit lumpy and springy. the regular bed had a nice mattress. it also had a large floor fan and an quite nice TV as well as Shaw internet and TV. The upper units are a bit far from the beach but the view is beautiful you just have to go down and walk away it is amazing for building sand castles this soap situation was a bit lacking into the smoke alarm was relatively sensitive it would be nice to have something like a hot tub on the positive however the view is amazing and it is situated in a lovely part of rathtrevor beach it's not too far of a walk from rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park and you can walk over there and have some bike trails as tubs

Wonderful 180 degree views of ocean and mountains of mainland.
The kitchenette units were slightly lacking in counter space. Our toilet had a permanent ring around the bowl. The BBQs were dirty and operated in fits and spurts. But all that said, the view is lovely, units are generally spacious and the staff were helpful and cheerful with all of our requests. If you're looking for a budget friendly, family friendly resort getaway with well manicured lawns and so so sport facilities, then look no further than Madrona Beach Resort.
