We took our son here because he absolutely loves birds, and we fell hard visiting these beautiful birds. We could have spent all day here, we had so much fun, loving and playing with these beautiful birds. One of the highlights of our trip was this place. The birds are well cared for and obviously loved by their keepers. The grounds are so pretty and inviting. Just be careful the grounds are steep (mountains tend to be). The babies are also nippy, but babies tend to be moody. If you have a chance to visit this beautiful place take it.

My first time here. Didn't even know it was there. I was very impressed. Lots of cool birds. See my photos. I was also very impressed with the free Bibles that they give away. All King James Versions. Parrott mountain is a must see and experience.

This place was so much fun. We had an amazing time and it offered so much more than I was expecting. Definitely buy the cups of nectar to feed the birds as that was a real highlight of the visit (and intense) but the best part of all was the nursery which had tons of friendly and holdable birds that will bring a huge smile to your face. I was surprised that there was three whole areas that had birds you could interact with. I was only expecting one or maybe two opportunities at most. A great value, super nice staff, clean facility and the birds seem extremely happy and well cared for. Just a great time for all. Can't recommend this place enough.

This is an amazing place, especially for those that love birds! They have an amazing collection of different species of parrots in their preserve. The staff were all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the birds there. Fair warning, there are a lot of steep inclines on the paths through preserve and in the parking lot. They offer a golf cart tour that is well worth the price. You are driven through the park on a golf cart with a tour guide that is very knowledgeable of the different birds and personal facts about them. You are able to stop, get out, and take picture any time you would like. We had Terri as our tour guide and she was incredible. We really loved the Bird Garden and being able to interact with a number of birds. Some of the birds would allow you to hold them or give them head scratches. It was interesting getting to see the personalities of the birds as we stayed and interacted with the birds. Precious the sulphur crested cockatoo and Ollie the Moluccan cockatoo were our two favorite birds in the Bird Garden. I can't wait to come back and see the birds the next time I am in the Pigeon Forge area!

Parrot Mountain was a highlight of our trip! Our teens had so much fun feeding the birds, and we especially loved hanging out with the baby parrots in the bird nursery! It was really fun interacting with all the different types of birds and hearing them say hi, bye and I love you! The gardens were beautiful and it was relaxing walking through the grounds. Solid 3 hours of fun. Steep hill up to the parking lot!
