Terrawoods is my paradise escape from the city! I've stayed at quite a number of places all over the Muskoka area and Terrawoods is by far the best! The cottages are very cozy and rustic and have everything you need inside and out. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Janice and Jaime and family, they are very friendly, warm and welcoming and are always available, they literally treat you like family. Booking and check in is always a breeze, I live about 3.5 hrs away and they always accommodate my late arrival. If you want the ultimate cottage experience there's no better place than Terrawoods, I'm pretty sure from between last Aug. to Nov. 2020 I stayed here 4 or 5 times(possibly even 6, I can't remember off hand lol)so you can be assured that this review isn't a 1 time fluke! I will definitely be returning for many more years to come!

Beautiful. We love it ! I recently bought a trailer up here and it's absolutely amazing. Owners are great and everyone in the park are very helpful. Dis-regard the negative comments. Like they said, rules need to be followed to ensure everyone has a great stay!
This place is an amazing campground. Well worth it to stay at! I highly recommend to everyone to come check this place out! Great owners that are funny, cheerful, friendly, and very easy to talk to. If you have any problems you just give them call and it’s done right away. Again I highly recommend this place to all, I’ve been here for 4 months now and I’ve loved every moment of it! Great little place with fantastic views on the water. The weather was a little cool but the water actually wasn't too bad for swimming. Took the little one for a couple of canoe rides which she loved. She also loved the big slide in the water. A few things could use some updates but part of the rustic charm you could say. If you need to plug in your phones, you might want to bring a power bar as outlets were a little scarce in the cottage we stayed in.
Three generations of my family have spent a week here every summer for the past decade. I CAN NOT say enough about this place! The owners Jamie and Janice have often gone above and beyond expectations. For example, one year we had a boating mishap and they proceeded to rent us their boat at a discounted rate so our kids could enjoy the GORGEOUS lake until ours was repaired. They didn't have to do that but they did. They're very attentive when it comes to ensuring their guests get the most out of their time in paradise. The grounds are very well kept, and any issues we've had (and there have only been a couple in all that time) have been resolved expeditiously and professionally. Please understand my parents, my family, and my sister's family aren't easy to please. Thank you Terra Woods for NEVER disappointing! I highly recommend staying here!
The one bedroom cottage we stayed in was over 80 years old, so yes, it's a cottage. But it was clean and perfect for two adults. The family that runs it, takes great pride and care of the property. The beach and water is incredibly clean and clear. The sunrises are amazing. We intend to return, if they will have us...
My summer home for the past 9 years. Wonderful park tenants. Great owners. Beautiful lake. Whether your a weekend renter or have a trailer in the park, you'll be very happy.
