This is a wonderful place for a special celebration. The food itself is amazing, and the staff are first notch - attentive without being overbearing. I can definitely recommend it!

Excellent service from the team, thank you. We went with the grill menu with venison to start with partridge for main. Venison was supper, really flavoursome, right amount of citrus and pepper. Partridge was excellent too. Staff were very attentive, asking if we wanted a refill as soon as our drinks were empty. We had processo on entry with a great merlot with the main. Thanks again. All finished off with a Irish coffee.

We had a gorgeous dinner here. Elegant and cosy ambience, very good service although during a rush you may have to wait a bit longer for your food (just an observation during Covid times). The warm atmosphere is always so conducive to a special occasion. The price is a bit steep but then again Oxford is.

Hands down the best Sunday roast I have ever eaten! It was even better than my Nan’s roast. Beautifully presented, everything was cooked to perfection, most importantly amazing gravy 9/10! Well worth the drive from Bicester Village.
