Pleasantly surprised!! This place was pretty good. I'm using disappointed in trying soul food or any black owned food businesses in california being that I'm from the south. I'm so happy I stopped by this place today! The sweet potatoes were so delicious and the peach cobbler!! Chicken was so tender it was falling off the bone. I will definitely be back.

I celebrated my birthday last night in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a pleasant evening and the place was indeed the reason for the happy celebration. The stuff helped in a pleasant style, the meals were very good and my friends were extremely glad. We shall no dout return for more joyful events. thanks very much.

I haven't even tasted the food yet, and I'm unhappy. I ordered, paid, and sat down 15 feet from the register. While I waited another customer came in, gave his name, picked up his order and left. The woman who served me went on a break or something and, after 10 or 15 minutes, another woman asked me what my order was. I told her, she asked me my name, and then she brought a bag. She said it had been sitting back there for 10 minutes, getting cold, I suppose. No one ever called my name. This was my first visit, and I'm not sure I'll be back. They don't their act together. I left a tip when I paid and now I regret it.
