Want nice breakfast set or some fried carrot cakes as breakfast? Block 16 Bedok South Market and Food Centre is the place! Some of my favorites: 1. Only thing there are birds eyeing on leftover food but there are limited hands (mainly cleaners) around to clear the dishes... They brought in the self-service tray return booth but response is not quite IDEAL probably due to "can't change old habit" and also, they were times the coin machine broke down and there were no ones there to process or administer refund....

I love this market. People are friendly n u can get almost everything u need. The street stalls lend a pasar malam ambience. Hard not to like.
As I said before you can find good food here... the carrot cake, eco rice, rojak , Wong's porridge is excellent and the lady that takes the orders is lovely. My grandson's favourite is the minced pork dumpling noodles soup... excellente
Best coffee experience if you love coffee. Many stalls selling very nice coffee at reasonable prices
Good place for local delight.
Most of the traditional local delights are here....and at a decent price. That's because of the pleasant and humble attitude of market vendors and foodstall holders in the hawker center. The best yiu tiow in the East is found here. So is the best char kuay teow.... In the marketplace one gets the greàtest variety of meats, spices, fish and vegetables at very far prices.
Good hawker in the east if you are looking for coffee and toast. Some of the stalls that are worth queueing are Fish all Noodles, coffeeshop and toast. Have tried both the coffeeshop that has long queue. One that is ran by vietnamese and the other chinese. Both coffee is good.
