Typical Malaysian marketing activities shopping for fresh food for their meal. A melting pot of all races for buyers and sellers. Most items sold are perishable like seafood, meat, vegetable, fresh flowers, fruits sold at reasonable prices in fact by my standard cheaper than the hypermarkets. Sad to imagine that wet market is a dying scenario and no longer popular among the young generation who prefer dry, air con and clean supermarkets including me.
like
varieties of seafood...vegetables... good value of products... affordable... friendly seller...
Fresh sea catch at reasonable price
Cleanliness level is poor, wet floor and most probably many rats and cockroach. Very poor manageable market.
A lot of choices of vegetables, fishes, chicken and meat. A few stalls have fresher fishes. The cleaniness need to be thoroughly improved and perhaps total upgrading is appropriate. If you can't stand the smell of ammonia from stagnant drainage system, this is definitely not the place.
A lot of viriarity of vegetables, fish & beef....
It is a two-storey building with limited parking space and many stalls on the ground floor are empty or not occupied even before covid. Due to covid the occupied stalls were not fully operational. During peak hours in the morning parking is a bit difficult. Stalls will start closing by 11.00am, one or two sometimes will close much earlier and by 12.00 noon the market will be closed. It is just a normal wet market selling the usual things but of low quality produce and the fishes are not fresh. The first floor is a bit pathetic in condition. It has fewer sundry stalls in operation and small restaurant without nothing much to serve.
Fresh seafood..easy to get parking
