The Wanderer

This Giligan’s restaurant , is nicely located on Manila Bay Front ... next to the now iconic MOA Eye Ferris Wheel Since being in the Philippines over 3 years now ... I’ve eaten at a few different Giligan’s - all the other restaurants were around Cebu City I really enjoyed my late brunch of • Sweet & Spicy Squid - P234 • 1pc Fried Chicken w/ rice - P74 • Root Beer Can - P60 Giligan’s Chicken - is a scrumptious southern style chicken with their added spices The Squid was deliciously so soft As in away in the name of this restaurant ... I like the nautical theme of Giligan’s

Ordered pancit canton which was fine and few other dishes and Grilled Pusit. Very strange dish. First it was served as a perfect square. Since when does pusit grow in a square shape. Second it was sift, a knife could cut it very easily. No idea what it was but it bore a very strange resemblance to grilled pusit. It looked like it had been a frozen square of reconstituted pusit but it definately wasnt real /original /legit pusit. Even the service staff knew what we meant when we asked what kind of pusit this was. The place is ok but wouldnt recommend to order this weird dish.

This a great place to eat if your with a group. They have food bundles good for 4 or more that are affordable. Its mostly Filipino food but delicious. The only drawback I have are the waiters who I notice seem to be chit-chatting more with coworkers than making sure the food gets to customers on time. In this moa branch, they have live music outside u can chill to while drinking a bucket of beer overlooking the bay which is really nice.

The place is located in the best spot but the resto itself must be cleaned-up even in times of pandemic. There is a hole in the ceiling, the comfort room is very dirty (there is no flush when I used the comfort room), the glass wall were not clean as you can see the dust in it. The drinking water tastes bad (1 of the water served has a small sponge in it). We also ordered iced tea for 60pesos each glass but it does not tastes as an iced tea (iced tea with no ice). 1 star because the foods were good but the rest is unacceptable for a wedding reception.

Great food and lovely smiling faces of the servers. First time I have been here after almost 30 years and the changes are awesome.

This is my first dining experience and in my opinion they serve cheap and delicious meals. Good for family groups especially with kids. Alcohol are available but the ambiance is family friendly.

Really nice spot right on the Ocean front located by SM Mall Of Asia. Reasonably priced menu with a large selection of menu options. It's busy and certainly Seems popular. I recommend checking this place out for yourself the next time you're in Manila

The sisig is really good and crunchy as well their sinigang.
