There is no better place to try the "lapingachos" or potato tortillas accompanied by your favourite meat of choice. also, if you can't make it to Ipiales to try them there, this is a great option! You will have the real deal. Believe me, my Father is native from Ipiales ("Ipialeño") and he adores these things.

pretty tasty lapingachos con tornado, for the non locals this is basically a yummy potato patty, with cheese inside, served with oven roasted pork and served with a lime wedge. it's pretty tasty! the service isn't too bad either. popular for lunch.
Definitely this place has the best Lapingachos!
Speciality is a plate with small potato cakes with different side dishes including roasted corn (maize). This is a great place to try healthy fast food, Andean style.
Good Lapingachos, probably best in Pasto but not that good if we are based on avarage Andean quality.
