Nice bridge, calm and quiet place
like
Seethathod Bridge. —————————— This bridge was inaugurated on 14/4/2012 by Ummanchandi the hone table chief minister of Kerala. It is a memorable day for Kottamonpara people who are the nearest people to Seethathod,could cut short their travel up to 14 km to reach at Seethathodu town from their homes. As a queen,the bridge is standing across the river Kakkad,majestically. Before the bridge construction,all the rainy seasons the people of Kottamonpara took such a deep hard ships to reach their homes from Seethathodu .Now plenty of buss services are there to Angamoozhy via Kottamonpara.The road became super and development reaching there very fastly.Welcome every one of you to Kottamonpara-Angamoozhy route to enjoy the hill beauty .Thanks to Seethathodu Bridge. The width of the bridge is 7 meters and the length of bridge is 50.64 meters.The opposite side of the entrance of bridge is Kakkadu hydroelectric project,the only power station close to township,in Kerala.
Beautiful scenery around it
One of the best thing happened to the near by residents by having this bridge. Earlier they used to travel on small boats which was dangerous. We can experience good vibes at early morning hours and late evening hour's. Good place for the photographer's to capture some beautiful movements.
Near kakkad power station
Best place to stay alive and took stunning photos. If you want you can swim in the river flowing below the bridge. While swimming you must be a bit careful that there maybe a sudden burst of water may be released from the hydro electric power station situated on the bank of river. Also 8f you are not a good swimmer it is advised that don't go too much from your friends. And it is not a safe practice to swim alone.
