Lived here for a year (2010-11) and visited most recently in 2019. Great times with friends. No issues with the food. Mating cats did occasionally disturb sleep.

Homei Bhaaba Hostel, Hostel no. 4, for boys only. Mainly alloted to Ph.D. scholars primarly and then M.Phil. students and as per demand and need. Very old but nice hostel building. Mess is very good and the food quality is also great. Many have their memories attached to the hostel and their rooms. The aura of this hostel is fantastic, you may find great philosophical discussions often going on round here.

It is not a good place to stay( Bhagat Puran Singh Hostel). Food is too much costly and rooms are really in bad condition. Warden is drug addict and exploit students. Better to get paying guest to stay.
