My mother (age-61) is a Sugar and Heart Patient. She was diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last week of Nov.2020. She was very serious. Big Private hospitals of Patiala refused to admit her. It's the Rajindra Hospital who had extended its helping hand and admitted my mother in its COVID-19 BLOCK. My Mother told me that the food was good, nursing support staff was available, timely medicines were provided, doctors made timely visits. The doctor was experienced one and you can personally meet and ask about the patient in OPD timings. Rajindra Hospital alone has much more beds with ventilators as compared to private hospitals. The COVID-19 WARD and the Super Specialty Ward are new buildings which are clean and have good infrastructure. It's the Destiny, medical condition of each patient and the treatment given will make a difference in the outcome. Number of patients over number of doctors, skilled nurses, equipment and facilities available, creates issue in govt. hospitals. Paying heavy bills in private hospitals is not an assurance of survival of patient. Most of the Doctors practicing in Private hospitals are product of the Govt. Hospitals. So, Don't under estimate the Doctors and Staff of Govt. hospitals. Rather then complaining it's better to understand their working conditions and support them any how. May God bless all with good health. Take precautionary measures, be aware and be alert. Thanks

One of the best hospitals to visit , everything is conveniently available around the hospital, parking , labs, public transport and this place may be crowded but the reason is good DR's and affordable pricing.

Very improved standards and hardworking staff. A boon for residents and senior citizens, unlike greedy private hospitals looting money from people. God bless Rajindra Hospital and their staff. End of the day, government cares public like their children. Though construction is going on, so hope for best in future. My best wishes. Still much better than private hospitals, who just commercialised and loot.

This Hospital do not even deserve 1 Star. My mom was admitted in Corona ward. That ward is hell for patients. We made worst decision of our life by admitting my Mom in that hospital. She was on dialysis & had heart condition. Rajindra hospital was the only option for them as DCW hospital send them to Rajindra Hospital. She was admitted on 10/09/2020. She test positive for Corona in hospital. No care was provided to her. We were keep on asking hospital about her condition, they never provide any information. Only information they provided on 13/09/20 at 5am that she is serious and they put her on Ventilator. At 1pm they call and informed my Dad that she passed away. When her body was received she had bruises on her face. I lost my Mom.
