Just left and wanted to write and say we had a lovely cream tea. Service was very good and friendly while still maintaining good special l social distancing, which is so important right now. They lost one star because they need to prepare more fruit scones for the day, they've always ran out by the time I get there.

Very nice place to relax and have a nice time. Food is great, they have vegan options, clean, spacious, toilets in good condition and friendly staff. Also very well located and easy access. No negative points.

Do not order from their online store ever again. If you have the slightest issue with the delivery of an order you will not get a timely response from the bakery, the DPD Local that collects from them and handles their account cannot be contacted and does not respond to their delivery branch's request for updated information. The retail staff are not even provided with the contact information of the bakery to be able to assist with a delivery error. This is a food delivery. You cannot have delivery delays with anything that is food related. Effective communication is key between A) the store and the delivery partner. B) between delivery partner branches. C) between the delivery partner and the recipient. The one star awarded to this review is for DPD Local, specifically the gentlemen at Gatesbridge that went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure delivery effected in a timely fashion. I take my hat off to them and will remember their assistance and dedication to the End Customer for many years to come.

We went for afternoon tea and it was very enjoyable. It's a pretty busy place but we were seated and served promptly, although our table was quite wobbly. The sandwiches and cakes were lovely, but nothing too special. All in all, a nice little afternoon tea.
