We’re a bunch of youngsters from different colleges who are stuck at their houses in lockdown. Seeing poor people suffering from hunger, temporary unemployment, inability to migrate, and depression in large numbers, we decided to start this non-profit initiative to provide support. We source money from crowdfunding and community networks to provide marginalized people ration, food packets, masks, sanitizers, and other basic needs. This was started after lockdown, and even continuing in the 2nd phase of lockdown. Our team consists of people from diverse backgrounds mainly engineering and medical students from colleges like IIT, NITs, IGIMS, and state govt colleges. Some of our members are from humanities backgrounds like lawyers, social and agriculture activists, language graduates, etc. Other collaborators are grocery businessman, restauranteur, and logistic suppliers. We have catered to around 300 families 1-week ration in the first phase, 50 families in 2nd. Thanks to our supporters.
