This institute contains an in house museum which unfortunately outsiders cannot visit. The museum contains artefacts recovered from excavations at Kumhrar,Oriup and Colgong. Many famous and eminent scholar in one way or the other related to this institution. Famous archaeologist from Bihar like O.P.Jayaswal and others have taught here. But the building seems to be in a dilapidated condition just like many other buildings of Patna University.This institute did not deserves the condition in which it is now. This institute has a rich legacy which needs to be further cultivated by the civil society of Patna.
