A bypass line is being laid here for Barh bound trains bypassing Bakhtiyarpur Junction mainly for coal supply to Barh thermal power plant. Interlocking already done for rail triangle here and additional loop lines laid and halt has been officially converted for crossing and now it is a junction. Hindi name is करनौती जंक्शन
