Mozhikkunnam Vechur farm is owned by Shri Brahmadathan Namboothiri, located at Nhangattiri to Mudavannur Road, very close to Pattambi. He has 5 generations of Vechur cows, next only Kerala Veterinary and Animal Science University. Vechur is a rare breed in India which has a place in heritage list. He has passion for rearing cows. He properly maintains breed book for all generations of his cows. Name, date of birth, name of mother, date of each delivery, details of the calf of each cow are documented. Cows are not for sale. Recently Kerala Finance Minister Dr Thomas Issac visited this farm.
