We cannot take tickets using UTS app from this station. App will not give this station as source station, instead the nearby station Angadippuram will be popping up. Railway need to correct it. Pattikkad Railway Station is a halt railway station serving the town of Perinthalmanna in the Malapuram District of Kerala and located in Perinthalmanna - Nilambur state highway. It lies in the Shoranur - Nilambur line of the Southern Railways. Station is having only one platform. The Nilambur–Shoranur railway line is a branch line of the Southern Railway Zone in Kerala state and one of the shortest broad gauge railway lines in India. It is a single line with 66 kilometres (41 mi) length running from Shoranur Junction (in Palakkad district) to Nilambur Railway Station (in Malappuram district). UTS paperless ticket not possible from this station.

Pattikkad railway station located in between Shoranur and Nilambur. You can feel a natural journey from Shoranur to Nilambur.
I have visited the place. It is a good railway station. The auto stand and the bus stand are located very close to it. There is no rush.
Very nice station with natural beauty
Being its situation in interior and mostly rural area infrastructure is quiet limited, a small and beautiful railway station.
Calm and quite railway station in a village atmosphere. No boring electric lines and posts through railway tracks.
A small halt station with only one platform for both directions. And a very less number of trains. From this station you can go to Nilambur Road in up direction and Shoranur Junction in down direction. And Indian railway operates passenger trains only.
