Absolutely excellent service. Mr Adler clearly knows what he's doing and really tries to help his patients. Since being diagnosed with convergence insufficiency (which no-one else seemed to know what to do with), I have travelled hundreds of miles to see him and never regretted it.

Paul transformed my son's ability to read by diagnosing, and treating convergence insufficiency. By son had initially been misdiagnosed as dyslexic however Paul correctly diagnosed the real cause using a series of tests in a single meeting. The subsequent programme of eye exercises transformed his previous difficulty with studying to a love of books which will have such an impact on his life and I can't thank Paul enough for this.

Wish we'd seen Paul years ago but so relieved we finally did! As a result of his treatment our son made 2 years worth of progress on his reading in 6 weeks! My (now 8 year old) son struggled with learning to read and write. Hated reading. Could do it but always struggled and seemed to get tired and frustrated. We wondered about dyslexia but this didn't seem to fit. School kept saying he was ok but was clear at home he was not and towards the end of year 2 the school also started acknowledging it was becoming an issue that he was still behind. Due to our concerns we sought advice of a neuropsychologist (I myself am a clinical psychologist and my husband a medic) who found he was behind but did not see clear picture of dyslexia. This psychologist suggested we consider having him assessed by a 'behavioural optometrist' and so we found Paul. Within our first session with him it was clear we should have seen him years before. His skills at assessing children and young people are so impressive. He knows how to talk to them so they talk back and got straight to the heart of the problem. He recommended Vision Therapy (VT) and I admit to being slightly cynical but so trusted Paul I went with it. I should not have been cynical. In the 6 weeks following the VT finishing my son made 2 academic years worth of progress in his reading. He now loves books and reading and finds all of school easier. We are so grateful to Paul and his team. It has made a huge difference and we just wish we'd done it earlier!
