I eat here a few times a week. The Tamale are just like Abuela makes. The pig ear and skin tacos remind me of going to Nogales as a kid and getting food with my aunt while she shopped. Dont pass this place by. The food is perfect and they try hard to get it just right for you.
As a California native, I can be picky about my Mexican food... and I love Tacontento. My partner and I love the tamales (actual corn husk tamales!) and tacos (street taco style with the small double tortilla); I've tried several other items on the menu as well and have not been disappointed. Horchata is available too, which we love. To top it all off, the service is great -- especially Jose, who is mindful of our special orders and always friendly (he recognizes me on sight at this point ).
Delicious food and great prices. Get the tacos. Get the gordita. Get the corn. Literally get anything, you won't regret it. Fast and friendly service too.
Nice authentic small Mexican Restaurant on Broadway, located in Pawtucket.... Reasonably priced freshly prepared and very good... Try it out, forget Taco Bell. Add to the menu please, though not authentic Mexican food; chimichangas, love these...!!! Thanks !... 2nd visit, again great food....Forget Taco Bell, and El Azteca
