This is the only Banner Imaging that I have gone to that makes me pay upfront or they deny doing the test. I know my benefits and run of the mill x-rays are covered at 100% by my carrier, tried to tell the front desk that and she is like, well my computer talked to their computer and it says you owe. I needed the x-ray and I paid it against my better judgement. Fast forward month later, my EOB comes in the mail and low and behold it was covered and I didn't owe anything. Then instead of them automatically issuing a refund, I have to hunt my money down. When I am talking with the billing department, I was told I could refuse to pay up front and still get my test. So come on Banner, which is it, refuse and don't get the test like your gate keeper at the facility said or refuse, get the test, and then pay once I get the invoice, like your billing dept said? Guess it's all about the Benjamins and not the patient.

Customer service is a really lousy I’ve been on hold for over 40 minutes trying to schedule a follow up exam. I worked in the medical profession for 30 years and I can tell you this is unacceptable. If I could give them a zero I would.
