A great place to visit, very calm and natural. The pond is a sight to see. The place is slightly dirty in some places , thanks to some drunkards who dump their bottles around.

Good place need to visit this temple if you are in Payyannur. Large sized fishes are present and can be fed through hands.

Such a big pond. During rainy season, water will be fresh and more preferred for swimming and bathing. During other seasons, water is not so fresh since it is stagnant. Lots of fishes are there in the pond, which is one of its attraction.

Beautiful places for travelers for a peaceful stop in between. I reached there in mid of the day on a sunny hour, still it was so pleasant to stay under the banyan tree with the view of pond and cool breeze.

Beautiful place loaded with divinity and ancient architecture. At the entrance there is Bhootathar idol below a tree surprisingly the tree here above the Bhootathar blooms only small white flowers with nice fragrance and no fruits unlike of other trees of same species. It signifies that Lord Bhootathar is showered with only flowers directly from the tree above the idol. P.S: Men need to remove the shirts and vests before they enter towards the main sanctum. Filled with water through out the year. Owned by subramaniya swami temple and extented to an area of more than 150 cents. Will give you a soothing effect in hot sun. There are residences all around the pond yet maintained very clean and tidy. People take a swim and bath in the pond.Located 100 meters from subramaniya temple entrance. You all so can see fishes in the pond and also feed them standing on the steps around the pond.
