As a renter, I am really pleased to rent a property managed by PCF. Their customer service and small-biz feel is wonderful. They are super responsive and helpful (Lynn and Adam are so kind and prompt). If you are a property owner and want your property managed by a company that has strong values and customer service, use PCF. They care about the property and the comfort of the tenants and do a great job liaising between the renter/owner. They have a hard line on things that need to be fixed for a reasonable way of living. I was worried about having a property mangement company, but they have such a high standard for the homes they manage. They keep everyone accountable. As a renter, I keep my house impeccable because I respect the owner and PCF does 6 month inspections. The service men who have came to my house to fix things are SO nice and I often end up chatting with them while they are working. They are respectful and always take off their shoes or put shoe covers on. I'm extending my lease another year just because I like to live in a PCF Managed home, and I'm not ready to buy in this crazy market in Howard County just yet.

Absolute professionals! Cynthia, David, and Bob did a great job with renting and managing my property. Communicated well with me for each step of the process and made my experience an excellent one. Timely responses to all of my questions and attention to detail in every item they take care of. Highly recommend them if you’re thinking about a reliable property management company.

I was going to rent from this management company, but their agent (Let's call her C) was downright rude during our first meeting to view a home. She was passive agressive during a follow up call (which my partner listened in and described C far less generously) and her emails contained sarcastic and patronizing comments. Listen, I get it - we all have off days. But C had a few in this instance, and that's unacceptable. A piece of advice: Don't get comfortable because you have an ok sized portfolio and a mostly ok reputation - with the wrong attitude, you'll find both of them easier to lose than to keep.

I had a great experience with PCF as my property manager for ten years. Their prices were fair and reasonable, and it's a breeze using their online portal. They made sure that I always had responsible tenants. When it was time to sell, they were also my real estate agent. My real estate agent was knowledgeable about the market, responsive, and made everything so easy for me! I highly recommend.

BEWARE!!!! Especially around renting the house on Tawes st in Maple Lawn. We were excellent renters there for 6 years, always paid our rent despite the basement flooding, ceiling leaking 2 or 3 times and the garage door collapsing (all which were fixed promptly by the mgmt company). The issue is with the actual owner and the part the mgmt company took in supporting him trying to rip us off in the middle of a pandemic. Our lease ended and we were asked to leave, which is his right, the mgmt company said that he was not planning on relisting with them and would be using the property personally. When I told them my concerns about moving in the midst of the pandemic with 2 small children he said via the mgmt company we can stay if we paid an extra 1200 dollars...thats right 1200, which is way above market value especially for that style house. So it seems that he was trying to take advantage of the pandemic and me trying to keep my wife and 2 sons safe and force us to pay ridiculous amount over the actual value, Well i said no and pointed out that this is border line criminal behavior. He then backed down and said we could stay until end of october at the same rent We left as agreed and less than 4 weeks later they listed it again for rent at 100 less than what we were paying. So it seems that his scheme to gain more money out of us backfired and he has no intention of taking it off the market. So renters be very very aware of this piece of work.
