On entering the examination room I was aware that the dentist was not wearing his mask over his nose.I made a comment that I was shielding hoping he would pull it up. As the examination went on and he was checking my mouth and talking his mask slipped down to under his mouth.I was most anxious and on the way out I commented to the receptionist that I did not feel very safe as his mask was not on properly. I was sorting out my jacket and the receptionist said that he would like me to go back into the room.I thought he may have heard and wanted to apologise but he shouted at me how dare you say I’m not wearing my mask it’s not my fault it slips down .He then continued to shout at me saying it’s not his job to shield me .And if you passed someone in the street without a mask it’s down to you.He said he doesn’t have to wear a mask as he needs to talk to his patients. I felt very threatened by his anger I said I would expect a professional medical to wear appropriate PPI. I left in a state of shock and broke down sat in the car for sometime as too upset to drive.I still two days later can’t get over being shouted at and very distressed.

I came to this dentist because of the good reviews, sadly ive been very disppointed. Firstly the reception said me and my son could register as NHS patients. Then when i got there she said it was going to be private. I wouldnt have gone if that was the case. Then when i saw the dentist a little bit of tooth broke off he offered to file it down, i thought it was ok and declined. But the next day i found my tongue was catching on it as it was actually really sharp on the side. So i called back to see if he would file it, but receptionist said this would be a new appointment and I had to pay !! Clearly this is a very money motivated practice, sadly i will not be going back there.

This is a bad dentist because my daughter who is 6 years old had an accident at school and the hospital told me to take her to her dentist when I called the dentist i told them it was an emergency they said they will call me back but he did not call or do anything when I asked the hospital they said that they need to see her with no appointment because it was an emergency especially for children it’s a new law . i don’t recommend this dentist.

I had a tooth where filling had partially come out, despite not being in any pain at all I visited the surgery where I’ve been a patient for years as I didn’t want to leave it. The dentist advised that I would need to have the tooth extracted as it may cause pain and could refer me to have an implant, unconvinced and felt as if the implant thing was a sales pitch I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist (thank god I did!) who removed the rest of the filling and rebuilt it... I’ve had the new filling two weeks and no pain or problems at all. My advice, avoid or get a second opinion especially if implant is suggested.
