I went to Dr. Nichols for the whole 18 years of my life so naturally I take my children there as well! I wouldn't trust my kids with anyone else! I recommend him and his team all the time! I love his staff they always call me back quickly and in a happy tone. Cant rave enough about them.

Pediatrics associates of Topeka was highly recommended to me by friends. I had called them originally to get established with them for when our baby is born in September. With COVID and everything going on we have chosen to transfer my care to the Birth Center and avoid the hospital. I called to see if I needed to do anything differently and they informed me they don’t accept birth center babies. It was very disappointing but my interactions other than that have all been very pleasant with the staff. I thought I should put that out there though since I know a lot of mamas are choosing to go with birth centers or home births to be allowed to have their support people with them and may be looking to find their future pediatrician. Staff is super pleasant over the phone and I’ve heard nothing but good things other than my experience of being disappointed that they won’t take us.

My newborn twins were supposed to see Dr. Gramma but she was out of the office... Whatever no big deal. They saw Dr. Nichols instead. Okay. Cool. After 4 days of my son being constipated and hurting from it i call to set up an appointment to get him in and the front desk was very rude. I changed pediatricians immediately after that. Well during this process of changing offices i called pediatric associates to have my kids removed from the computer and the lady got rude with me and hung up.. She didnt take time to listen as to why i needed an appointment for my kid then ahe got rude with me. I'll never take my kids here again. That lady needs to be fired

The nurse practitioners and Dr Cooley and his personal nursing staff are absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable. However when it comes to his receptionist's they are the rudest people I have ever had to deal with and it doesn't matter what time of day you call. They are always pretty rude. Even when you check in for an appointment sometimes they can be pretty short and snippy. I will never know why I just hope this improves.
