Went there for breakfast.. I'm don't often go there but when I'm there I will always eat the carrot cake stall that located in the middle centre row.. Not the one at the corner that is always long Q.. I find the the middle stall carrot cake taste better especially the black version.. It has abit of the burnt aroma because of the sweet dark sauce.. Give it a try..

Food are reasonably priced and certain stalls are value for money. Unfortunately, there may be bird issue. Never leave your food unattended.

Morning sight for a bustling hawker, many famous stalls with long queue. Tried only these 2, but find them so so only. Not up to my expectation. Only interesting point is the prawn soup tasted different from the usual kind, but stall auntie very fierce.

This is a very lovely hawker centre that's primarily for the morning. Queues are extremely long for the good stalls, especially if you come slightly later. Make sure you have the few things: chee cheong fun, big prawn noodles, and peanut pancake.

Not many choices of food, especially in the market/hawker area, lots of stalls but barely a few in operation. Other coffeehouse also have not much choice. If you love a particular food there, you will still come back, after all, it is mainly elderly. I had the vegetarian meal again, but this time round, not so good and no variety.

Best place to find cheap, Indian food! Today we tried the naan from - Pak Kashmiri Delight stall. I personally prefer their version frm other stalls. The roti is light, fluffy & totally soak up any gravy u dunk it into! Best part, the stall owners are friendly & always serve each customer wth a welcoming smile. Best!

One good thing about growing old is that you wake up early. This silver zone is busy, lively and bustling with folks looking for breakfast. A couple of stores with long queue. Prices are reasonable and taste is generally good. Most stores are run by seniors. So this is one of the very few organic Singaporean hawker centre left. Come for breakfast. Experience it before it goes away.
