Due to covid I didn't want to stay in the shop long so bought what I thought I needed. I emailed the Manager and he was fabulous and explained the products I bought weren't the best for my set up and suggested exchanging them. I went back today and was extremely well looked after. Great service and would highly recommend you talk to them about what you need, they have so much to offer. Thanks to all the staff for the help provided

Disappointed. Visited the store and spent over 100 on fish. One of which was supposed to be a female Kribensis to keep my male Kribensis company. Upon getting it home and putting it into my 350L, heavily planted tank, I suspected that Pelagic had sold me a male rather than a female Kribensis, as my male was chasing it around the tank and nipping at the new arrival. This was confirmed when I posted a photo of it to a fish keeping community that I'm a member of. To top it off, I'd purchased 6 glass fish of which I'd only received 5. I phoned Pelagic and spoke to Andrew who said that he would supply me with another glass fish and swap the Kribensis for a female. I explained that there was no way of returning the fish as due to tank size and plants. Also, the new male had gone into hiding. Andrew was having none of it. So in the end, I went to Pelagic and they gave me another glass fish and I had to buy a female Krib. I like Pelagic and travel from Maidstone to visit. Looks like I'll have to take my business elsewhere, all because of a fiver. Shame.

Staff are very helpful and polite & very knowledgable on pond equipment and pumps , its quite expensive on pond equipment but a great selection of koi food well worth a visit even to look at the fish tanks
