Highly recommend. Great experience for our family. The owners (Brent and Tina) are friendly and willing to share their knowledge of the lake and area for best fishing. The cabins are super clean, updated and comfortable with great views. Wifi at lodge is helpful. We went to SON twice this year and plan to return again.

Multiple trips this past year to Silence of the North. Great experience for all and very reasonable. So much lake to explore with some guidance from Joan, Tina, and Brent. Awesome hospitality and extremely accommodating. We had arrived early and were able to get into the cabin to hit the water as soon as we could to not waist a day of travel. New boats and electric starts work great with no problems. Cabins are perfect to get away and cell service on the main lake to make sure that if there are any problems to get a hold of Tina if need be. Thank you again for hosting the groups this year and looking forward to promoting the camp for next year!
I have been going to SON annually for 12 years on a brothers, sons and Dad fishing trip. It is beautiful and we never want to leave once we are there! What makes it even better are the wonderful people who own it and the continual care, attention and improvements. The owners understand customer service and the importance of treating people with a warm welcome. This year, I took my wife, kids (ranging in age from 6 to 25) and their friends. Every one of us loved the cabins, awesome pontoon boat, good fishing and warm hospitality from Brent, Tina and Joan. The pontoon boat is a great new feature. It allows a family to spend time together enjoying the great fishing and beautiful outdoors. We highly recommend SON for so many reasons. It is a great family bonding experience. Jonathan Kiesman

Been to this place 12x over the years and its always a great experience. New owners are friendly. Some changes that make it a little less as fun as before. Boats in other lakes are not accessible due to continuous vandalism not owners fault. But sad the lake trout fishing in Parenteau is a not available. New owner is working hard to improve structures and build a better camp and things are cleaning up nice.

- Most importantly; the owners and their family are welcoming and happy to have you there. - The boats and engines are your standard Lund 16' with four stroke 20 hp with bench (no seats). Doesn't much matter, as you are typically up fighting with fish and pulling them off the hook. - Cabins are rustic but have a beautiful view of the lake and bay. - Charlie will fillet your fish boneless, for a fee. Well worth it.
