Great staff but the internet not good well for my area
like
My internet went out 4-6 times the past year. Its out again and I have to call multiple times to get them to fix it everytime, It went out Saturday night and won't be fixed until maybe tomorrow. They also block their customers from getting service from another location, so in the hours they are closed you get no help. My bill fluctuates between 74-79 just for internet, no phone or tv.

Slow! Speeds fluctuate between 1 and 5mbps alllll the time. I pay for 7mbps.... It’s 85 a month and it barely works. They come out to my home, and say it’s because too many devices are on. Absolutely not so! A cell phone and Netflix is not too many things running..... I’d change services in a second if I could.
The internet barely works when it actually is working. They'll tell you they are gonna have someone get back to you and then they never do. Even better sometimes they just send someone out without letting you know. I've had my box replaced multiple times this year and each time the internet works worse. The "5g" internet doesn't work at all. Id do anything to be able to use any internet company that isn't Comporium.
Update.....the internet goes out so they said they were going to come out and lay a new line, they put a temporary line down and internet finally worked then it took them 3 weeks to come bury and and they DIDNT bury it, they just picked up the new line off the ground and reconnected the old one under the ground and sat in their trucks forever then left!!!!!!!!! This company is a waste of time and money!!!!!! Absolutely terrible!!!!!! If I could give no stars or negative stars if I would. They make you pay for high speed but don't provide it! I pay for high speed and only get up to 2 Mbps speed at most plus my internet goes in and out all day long for months now. The speed so slow I can't even use my wifi for my phone or laptop because searches time out so I have to turn off the WiFi on my devices. It riddiculous to charge for your service when your service doesn't even meet what you claim it will. If there was another option for internet so I could have actual high speed ( seeing as my kids will now be doing virtual school and I don't even know if they can keep up because of how slow this is) I would definitely switch! Please spectrum or at&t or someone with high speed come to Pelion!!!!
People who pay for the internet have to wait over 1 month to get service because they are giving people free internet. I understand the situation were in and it is a good thing to help the kids but you should put the people who are paying their hard earned money up first.
I don't understand why you can't upgrade the lines out in Gaston. Other internet companies are expanding including T-Mobile. Plenty of people will be switching if you don't upgrade. There is no sense in internet being as slow as dial up. This is 2020! No excuse. You charge the same as Spectrum & other companies yet are the slowest.
