We had a lovely stay at this campsite. The weather was bad so we were not able to take advantage of the canoes, kayaks and paddle boats which are available for free at the small beach on the Ottawa river. The lots are not the most private but all of the other features of the park make up for this. It is very clean, the service is great, there is a large lodge with board games, pool table, books to read and more. I saw many happy kids playing in the small playground. The highlight for us was being invited to a free end of season barbecue for all campers just hours after we arrived. We had a wonderful meal with roasted pork, pears, sweet corn and slow baked potatoes. Everyone was very friendly and I would highly recommend. The showers are the nicest I've ever seen in a campground!

Hi, the campground is simple but clean. The lot was a good size and very sandy.The beach is good. The owners were friendly at check in. Beautiful lake but fishing terrible. The docks are unstable.

We stayed in the large cabin close to the road and it was perfect.....loved the fire pit and they don't charge you a fortune for firewood. We had our poodle with us who loved playing in the water across the street for hours! Great to have a pet friendly campground. We were there the September long weekend for a wedding in town. It was close enough to town to take a cab which was very convenient. The owners were so friendly and informative, loved chatting with them and hearing their plans for the place. We have a camper and have decided next time we will be bring it and get to know more of the regulars. They invited us to an incredible "free" dinner consisting on pulled pork (which was roasted all night by a fellow camper), Montreal smoked meat, 100lbs of potatoes which they made delicious french fries with, coleslaw, buns, corn on the cob and ice cream for dessert. What an amazing feast and the friendliness of everyone there was so inviting that we simply must go back!!!
