Considering how quiet it was, had to wait approx 40 mins for meals. No one came to check if we wanted more drinks or desserts. To be fair when the meals arrived they were hot and tasty. Pity about the service.

The food here is lovely and reasonably priced. I would say they the portion sizes are maybe too big considering that one picture is a ham salad. Stunning location

Oh dear, what a disappointment ! As a group of five visiting for Sunday lunch are orders were taken and starters delivered promptly. Soup was lukewarm and no bread accompanied the garlic mushrooms.Asked for bread (others had it ) but it wasn’t delivered, and was told later kitchen had run out (at 1.30 ) Requested a jug and tap water—-not delivered. One place setting missing on table, had request same. Two out of five roasts luke warm and swimming in gravy. One was sent back to be reheated All meals served were pensioners portions even though there was no request for these meals and not all customers on the table were pensioners.Coffe was ordered but not delivered. “Traditional bread and butter pudding “ was presented covered in thick lumpy custard compete with a skin on top This restaurant used to serve tasty food with excellent service, but not it seems, any more

Such a shame for a beautiful location on the seafront... No diversity in the breakfast menu, cooked English breakfast only... Warmed up frozen food and overly greasy sausage, bacon and eggs. No 'healthy' options available. Below satisfactory covid measurements, staff seemed to be unsure with the guidelines and made us feel unwelcome and a hindrance to their day. If you want good food and service, the captain's wife is the place to be and only a stone throw away.

Nice location near Sully island. Quality food and top service at a fair price, also a brill venue to hire for parties!
