Favorite campsite ever!!!! So much stuff to do. Petting zoo, playground and more. Lots to look at and you can camp right by the creek!! Also every campsite has utensils to cook with. Love love this place!

Absolutely great campgrounds and wonderful hospitality. Would highly recommend to anyone that is wanting to go camping but doesn't want to put up with the hassle of campsites being stacked on top of one another. The creek is very clean and relaxing to listen too at night. I will 100% be going back to hones pointe.

This was our very first outing in our very first RV, and going to Hones Point was the perfect choice! It's an absolutely perfect spot with so much to do. The pavilion was large and very functional, and the kids loved the swinging chairs and all the yard games which included horseshoes, badminton, soccer, volleyball, and more. Being right next to the expansive creek was awesome too as the kids loved looking for fossils. Best of all, Steve was such an awesome person and accommodating host. A true super host in every way, We’ll be back for sure. Thanks again Steve!!

One of the best camping experiences I've had. Campground is extremely clean, well maintained, peaceful, private, and quiet. The owner, Steve, is one of the most genuinely easygoing and nice people I've met. He came by to make sure my bird feeders were filled so I got to watch them and listen to birdsong all week from my riverside hammock with a nice good book. The attention to detail at each site was incredible too. He decorated for Halloween so there's cool little details hidden throughout the sites along with solar lights along the perimeters and pathways which were great at night to navigate. He has a small petting zoo with some goats and turkeys that are all extremely tame, you can even go in and pet them! There's also a really docile horse you can say hi to, he came right up to me and let my pet him for a good 10 minutes. Very therapeutic. All in all you can tell he really cares about his property and runs a tight ship. If I'm ever back this way I'll definitely be back. Couldn't recommend enough!

Clean and spacious site with a great host (who will make firewood deliveries!). Some sites were right on the river, others in a a field with sparse foliage. Still felt secluded despite not being right in a forest. Hiking, vineyard, and other outdoor activities to do around the area. The site had a fire pit that came with a grill attached, picnic table, and a trash bin with light. Booked through hipcamp

The owner of this campground, Steve, made my friends and I feel right at home. The property is well maintained and very welcoming. Steve supplied us wood and made sure we were well taken care of. The port-a-potties are well spaced between campsites but sometimes you find that the previous camper did not leave the place clean. Make sure to bring toilet paper because there is no guarantee it will be inside when you need it. The campsite we chose was huge and fit 6 large tents and a large canopy. I felt safe the whole weekend and had a perfect trip!

We had such a good experience here because, most importantly for us, we felt very safe throughout our entire stay. The host, Steve, is welcoming and helpful and you can text him anytime if you need anything at all. The entire campground is thoughtfully designed with cute decorations and well maintained landscaping, and there are many different types of bird feeders all over the property and the whole place just feels so cozy. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have kids or are new to camping.
