I need to visit endodontist for tooth evaluation, so I found that Dr. Larisa excepts my insurance and made an appointment. When I came she just looked at the old x-ray I brought with me and didn't do any radiograms and made her quick and incorrect conclusion spending about 1 minute with me. On the way back I was asked to pay 90 for the service (including the unique 10 Covid-19 surcharge). I told them that my insurance covers consultations 100%, but they forced me to pay, promising refund after my insurance pays. Surely my insurance paid them 100%, but I never received my refund. After two month, my FSA card told me that the change was suspicious and that I have to send them EOB from insurance. I sent them that, but EOB said that patient responsibility was 0. So now I have to pay from my checking account another 90, which \Family & Spa Dentistry\ stole from me. They got the money twice and I paid twice for 1-minute useless visit. I called them three times, but they were very unfriendly and seem not willing to resolve the problem. Please AVOID USING THESE THIEFS! And never pay them at the time of visit, because they are liars too. Wait for EOB from insurance, then pay a balance if any.

This was my first visit after having a bad experience with another dentist! I was so pleased at how comfortable Dr Vagnozzi and her assistant Sandy made me feel. They walked me through the whole procedure and even fixed another tooth while I was there. The office is very comfortable and the front desk staff was so helpful. I would highly recommend them.

BEWARE: BILLING NIGHTMARE! I was recently charged a 25 fee for one of my free cleanings covered by my insurance. After speaking with the billing department, they said it was all cleared up - only to receive a bill from a collection agency a month later. My second nightmare was being quoted 150 for an elective dental procedure I was coerced into - which turned out to be over 500!! When I told them I couldn't afford it because I had only planned for what they had quoted me, they charged me over 125 for a missed appointment fee! NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE!! I am so very disappointed as I truly enjoyed being a patient here. Everyone has always been very welcoming and made going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Super bummed.
