We had a wonderful time as always! We stayed in the Gardener's Bothy this time. It's cosy and very clean, well equipped with everything you could want for a few nights away. Wonderful hot shower too! We can't wait to come back next year!

Beautiful estate, well situated if you want a quiet relaxing break or a walking holiday. The nearest shop and pub is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The only things I would say could improve my rating would be a play area for kids (even just a climbing frame and a couple of swings) and fly screens on the chalets. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely woodland CL caravan & motorhome site with short walks to either Patterdale and Glenridding with lake launches, pubs, shops and hotel restaurants.
